   Traders Send Livestock Contracts Lower

   It was a lackadaisical day for the livestock complex as all three markets
closed lower.

GENERAL COMMENTS:

   The livestock complex was pressured throughout the day and all three markets
closed lower. Bids were offered throughout the day in the cash market, but no
trade developed. May corn is up 6 3/4 cents per bushel and May soybean meal is
down $0.50. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is up 141.74 points and NASDAQ is
down 14.98 points.
